Nestled by a picturesque dam, this lodge is a hidden gem in a gorgeous and peaceful area. the beautiful garden surrounding the lodge is a perfect spot to relax. the modern rooms are well-furnished, with excellent handmade toiletries, and fantastic bathrooms. the hosts are attentive and accommodating. the food is exceptional, with a high-quality restaurant that serves delicious meals, and the breakfast is excellent too.
The heat in the rooms can become uncomfortable, but the provision of a fan helps alleviate the issue.

The rooms were cozy and well-furnished with a beautiful view. The surrounding area was peaceful and offered great hiking paths. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The best part was the amazing food at the on-site dining room.
While there weren't many shops around, we were able to drive to nearby towns for any necessities. However, it would have been more convenient if there were more options within walking distance. Despite that, the overall experience was fantastic and we highly recommend this place for a relaxing holiday, especially during Christmas time.

I enjoyed the peaceful and quiet environment of this hotel which was surrounded by a picturesque garden. I also appreciated the hotel facilities, particularly the strong wifi signal that was very helpful for me to get some work done. to that, the staff were friendly and courteous, always ready to offer helpful information about the transportation and the location sensitive to electromagnetic fields.
Nothing to complain about at all.

Lovely grounds, immaculate rooms, helpful hosts. Excellent bed, private sun deck surrounded by roses. Great place - highly recommend.

We spent our Christmas at a rural retreat in Central Otago. the surroundings were breathtaking and the cycling trails were outstanding. the food in the on-site restaurant was delicious and the prices were reasonable. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations for local attractions and activities in the area. the room was cozy and clean, with comfortable beds and tasteful decor. We enjoyed being close to the lake and taking advantage of the kayaking options.
The lack of air conditioning made it difficult to sleep on hot nights. the room was quite small, with limited storage space for our luggage.
